Sunday, January 13, 2013 UBC voted to build our new worship center and extend Beyond Measure fund raising campaign for three additional years. This new campaign will be called Beyond Measure2. University Baptist Church is driven to lead others to discover God, connect with others, and serve the world. Over the past few years, we have watched our surrounding communities explode with growth. We know God has strategically placed us in a prime location to influence over 16,000 lost people with the good news of salvation.
In addition, the Lord has widened our sphere of influence by positioning us to engage an international mission field in a church planting effort. As His church, we want to remain faithful to His call on our lives to lead others to discover Him, connect with other believers, and learn to serve their communities.
To better do that, we must expand our home base. Construction of a new worship center and the reconfiguration of our existing sanctuary will provide the launching pad we need to maximize our obedience to the Great Commission. Our vision is not simply to build a building. Our vision is to be faithful to the call to make disciples of all nations…starting in our own backyard. Imagine a strengthened body, raising our voices with one heart, one mind, one vision to the Creator of heaven and earth! Consider the eternal impact of University Baptist Church - it is truly beyond measure.
